Stoney

That's my daughter Jennifer with John at P&C Gallery, Washington, DC. She finally got to meet the man that inspired me. Jennifer spent the next day watching some WHO videos! Yet another generation of WHO FANS on the rise.

My wife Susan gives John an earfull of just how well he played the previous night. As John admired Susan's spider pin he modestly quipped "Yea?...I'm getting better."

I got involved with a WHO cover band. It's one of those "just for grins" things. We've got this guitarist,Dave, who is somewhat "pre-posessed" by Pete--all the chords, licks & moves. A drummer, Ken, that does Moon almost better than Moon, our lead singer,Clint, who enjoys breaking my mic cords. And myself, of couse, who "plays" JOHN. We are called the "QUADROPHENIACS".

Yes, he does move. John gives Godfrey the nod to rip into another solo during "Heaven and Hell" at the Chameleon Club, Lancaster PA. (Photo by my brother, Evan Johnstone)
