Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel

What can we say OX fans, The man still has what it takes. John continued his mastering of the bass at Lupos in Providence last night. The movement of his fingers was exciting and mesmorizing. Seeing the OX in concert was unbelievable!!! If anyone ever gets a chance to see him in concert, take the time and the opportunity to do it, it is well worth it. Very loud in there but the set could use some arrangement. The opening bands werenot too bad although The Butterflies, forget the first part of thier name, could use a little variety. The songs sounded the same, but there overall sound was great. Party on WHO Fans.

I had the pleasure of seeing John Entwistle in concert in Providence last night. The OX was simply incredible, his hands moved like lightning. I also must say that his openings bands were quite good as well. I've seen the OX play before with Daltrey, but he has never taken control of a show like he did last night. The mix was the only negative aspect of the concert. And as any Who related concert should be, I left with a ringing in my ear that is still pleasing my body as I write.

I had the good fortune to see JAE last night at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence. The show was great. My whole body was vibrating from the bass!

I actually sat on the stage by the guitarist (Godfried Townshend - any relation?) and the keyboard player. Amazingly, I wasn't booted off! I thought the set could've been longer, but, I was told it was their last gig.

Anyone know anything about that? Anyway, it was a real treat. The last time I saw John was with the Who in November, 1969, at the Boston Tea Party, where they did all of Tommy and all their early stuff. What a show!
